City Gate Construction is establishing itself as an industry leader. Founded in 2003, we are a privately owned Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance main contractor with offices across Scotland and England.
Headquartered in Paisley, the company has consolidated its position as a major contributor to the construction industry, employing over 200 staff across eight fully integrated divisions. We maintain a strong year-on-year commitment to trades apprentices, who represent approximately 15% of our workforce.
We recognise the importance of industry-standard accreditations and continually invest in maintaining and expanding these. Our current accreditations include ConstructionLine GOLD, Safe Contractor, CHAS, NICEIC, GasSafe, SNIPEF and Achilles.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced groundworker to carry out a range of groundwork and drainage tasks in the central belt. The successful candidate will have hands-on drainage experience and will also be expected to assist with jetting works. A valid driving licence is essential.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in general groundworks
- Practical experience with drainage works (essential)
- Valid driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hard-working, and able to work to deadlines
- Experience with jetting is advantageous but not essential
- CSCS Card
