Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Flooring Contractor to join our team, specialising in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various flooring surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with experience using hand tools and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital part in transforming spaces through expert flooring solutions, contributing to both residential and commercial developments.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tiles.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments.
Perform tasks related to flooring installation, such as cutting and fitting materials precisely.
Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure specifications are met within deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or flooring installation is essential.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used flooring work.
Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently

Pay: £12.21-£18.00 per hour
