The role of Electrical Assembler:

Assemble small components including PLCs, relays, contactors, drives and terminal blocks into finished products, reading from schematics and blueprints
Use hand tools and power tools to meet production and quality targets
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings
Build control panels containing 5 to 100 cables
Wire and assemble intricate systems within conveyor machinery
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance and customer specification requirements
Maintain housekeeping of workshop area and adhere to H&S regulations at all times

The ideal Electrical Assembler:

Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds etc.)
Proven experience as a Control Panel Builder, Electrical Technician or similar role
Experience within industrial electrics (not residential)
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints
Confident with panel wiring, cable routing and component layout
Right to Work documentation required — candidates must be resident in the Corby or local area
