About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and driven Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products from concept through to production, ensuring high levels of performance, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engineering solutions using CAD software
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
- Support prototype development and testing activities
- Identify and implement design improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Design, or Engineering-related discipline
- Proven experience in a Design Engineer role (or similar)
- Strong CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, automotive, defence, etc.)
- Knowledge of FEA, CFD, or simulation tools
- Project management experience
