As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Senior Process Executive to join our Southampton team and play a key role in driving process optimisation, operational efficiency, and business improvement initiatives.
The Role
The Senior Process Executive will be responsible for analysing, developing, and improving business processes across the organisation. Working closely with operational teams, department leaders, and senior stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve productivity, and support the successful delivery of strategic objectives.
This position requires a highly organised and analytical professional with a strong understanding of process management, operational performance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Improvement and Optimisation
- Review, analyse, and evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Design and implement process enhancements that improve productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Support business transformation and process improvement initiatives across multiple departments
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement methodologies throughout the organisation
Operational Performance Management
- Monitor process effectiveness and operational performance against established objectives
- Track and analyse key performance indicators and operational metrics
- Identify trends, performance gaps, and areas requiring improvement
- Support operational teams in achieving efficiency and performance targets
- Recommend solutions to improve workflow effectiveness and service delivery
Business Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyse, and interpret operational and business performance data
- Produce detailed reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and identify further opportunities
- Support strategic planning and decision-making through data-driven insights
Project Support and Change Management
- Assist with the planning and delivery of business improvement and transformation projects
- Coordinate activities across departments to support successful project implementation
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and process review sessions
- Support organisational change initiatives and encourage adoption of new processes
- Monitor project progress and ensure key objectives are achieved
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand operational challenges and business requirements
- Act as a point of contact for process-related initiatives and enquiries
- Provide guidance and support regarding process improvements and procedural changes
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure business processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate process documentation and governance records
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Identify process-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Promote operational standards and best practice governance across the organisation
RequirementsExperience and Skills
- Proven experience in process improvement, business operations, continuous improvement, or business analysis roles
- Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow optimisation, and operational excellence principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience interpreting operational data and producing meaningful performance reports
- Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Process Improvement, or a related discipline preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement qualification desirable
- Professional qualifications in project management or operational excellence would be advantageous
