BSK E.P.G.B Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team covering Stockport and the surrounding Greater Manchester area.
This role is ideal for a reliable, customer-focused tradesperson with extensive experience across multiple trades who can work independently, diagnose property maintenance issues, and deliver high-quality repairs and installations. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, refurbishment, and repair works within residential and light commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
General Property Maintenance
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Diagnose and rectify property defects and maintenance issues.
- Complete repairs to a high standard with minimal supervision.
- Undertake refurbishment and improvement works.
Carpentry & Joinery
- Door installations and repairs.
- Skirting, architrave, and timber repairs.
- Lock replacements and adjustments.
- Kitchen unit repairs and installations.
- General first and second fix carpentry works.
Plumbing Maintenance
- Repair and replace taps, toilets, sinks, wastes, and pipework.
- Diagnose and repair leaks.
- Install and replace sanitary ware.
- Carry out minor bathroom and kitchen maintenance works.
Decorating & Finishing
- Surface preparation and painting.
- Minor plaster patch repairs.
- Silicone sealing and finishing works.
- General decorating and cosmetic repairs.
Building Maintenance
- Basic brickwork and pointing repairs.
- Fence and gate repairs.
- Minor roofing and guttering repairs.
- General external maintenance works.
Customer Service & Documentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers and office staff.
- Complete electronic job sheets and reports accurately.
- Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy.
Essential Requirements
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience in property maintenance or multi-trade work.
✔ Strong experience in:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Decorating
- General building maintenance
✔ Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and provide practical solutions.
✔ Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
✔ Strong organisational and time-management skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence.
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade.
- CSCS Card.
- PASMA Certification.
- IPAF Certification.
- First Aid at Work.
- Experience working within occupied residential properties.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
