Salary: £16,000 - £19,000 per annum

Working Arrangement: Permanent contract,Full Time, 37.5 Hours, 9-5

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship

Additional qualifications: CIM Foundation Certificate worth £600+

Our client is a fast-growing online business operating within the competitions sector, offering customers the opportunity to win a range of exciting prizes through its rapidly expanding online platform.

With a growing audience and ambitious plans for the future, they are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their small, friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing while working directly with business owners and seeing the impact of your work from day one.

The business offers a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are welcomed and apprentices are encouraged to take ownership of projects and develop their skills.

About the Role

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you'll support the promotion and growth of the business across social media, website content, email marketing, promotions and live events.

This is a highly practical role that would suit someone creative, confident and eager to learn. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities while working directly alongside the business owners, who will provide guidance, support and mentoring throughout your development.

As your skills and confidence grow, you'll be given increasing responsibility and autonomy, with the long-term aim of taking ownership of many of the company's day-to-day marketing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine career in marketing and become a key part of a growing business.

Working closely with the team, you'll play an active role in increasing brand awareness, customer engagement and ticket sales while developing valuable real-world marketing skills.

Responsibilities

As part of the role, you may be involved in:

Content Creation & Social Media

Creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other digital channels
Designing graphics and promotional assets using Canva and other creative tools
Planning, scheduling and publishing social media content
Supporting the creation of video content, photography and live social media activity
Capturing content from events, promotions and prize winners

Digital Marketing & Campaigns

Assisting with marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches
Supporting website updates and online promotional activity
Helping maintain a consistent brand presence across all marketing channels
Monitoring social media and campaign performance
Researching marketing trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities

Marketing Projects & Business Growth

Working with external suppliers, agencies and creative partners
Supporting offline marketing activities and promotional campaigns
Contributing ideas to improve engagement, reach and ticket sales
Assisting with the planning and delivery of marketing projects

Ideal Candidate Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

Has the right to live and work in the UK
Achieved C/4 or above in GCSE English and maths or equivalents
Positive, proactive and enthusiastic
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Creative with plenty of ideas
Confident communicating with different people
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Reliable and willing to take initiative
Passionate about social media and digital marketing
A full UK driving licence and access to vehicle

Desirable

Basic experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
Experience creating content for social media, either personally or professionally

About the Apprenticeship

This role is being delivered through a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship with The Marketing Trainer.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you'll receive structured training covering:

Content marketing
Social media marketing
Email marketing
Marketing strategy and planning
Data and campaign analysis
SEO fundamentals
Brand development
Marketing technologies and tools

You'll also gain a CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing as part of the programme, helping you develop industry-recognised knowledge and skills.

Upon successful completion, there is the opportunity to progress into a permanent marketing position within the business.

Pay: £16,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
