Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our vibrant café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a memorable customer experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality (Latte art skills is a MUST).
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and processing payments using the POS system.
Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations.
Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods by prioritising duties such as serving customers, preparing drinks, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
Support team members with general duties as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred; further training can be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure hygienic practices are maintained at all times.
Experience in serving customers with friendly professionalism.
Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately.
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods without compromising service quality.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
