Position: Saturday Studio Supervisor
Permanent Saturday shifts 9am-3pm
Also looking for availability on Mon-Fri shifts (desirable but not necessary).
Must have previous work experience in a management/supervisor role and/or working with children in a professional environment.
Must be at least 18 years old (adult) to supervise children.
Position start date: August/September 2026

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our studio, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Saturday Studio Supervisor to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Sensei are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas studio. This individual oversees the staff and the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? Coding experience is not required but basic understanding of coding and passion for technology are highly desirable & preferred. Previous supervisor experience is also highly desirable. This could be the role for you!
Responsibilities include:
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow during camps/coding sessions.
- Supervise the studio, staff and children during live sessions.
- Follow up from all notes/tasks set by Manager.
- Reply to parent enquiries/emails/phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Work with children to determine skill sets and teach various coding/gaming concepts and help them through our coding curriculums and camps.
- Follow opening/closing duties daily
- Delegate tasks to staff throughout the day
- Good communication with parents and provide feedback at end of sessions re. their child/children's progress.
- Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
- Report to Manager with respect to day’s activities and productivity in dojo, as well as completing a daily written report.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy/have experience in teaching, mentoring or child care, and/or coding/technology/gaming.
- Works well with others; collaborates.
- Must be fun to work with and like working with children in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently.
- Organised, honest, reliable and punctual.
- Previous supervisor / work experience with children is highly desired.
