The family-run garden centre is seeking a Garden Products Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture with a strong background in retail management and would progress quickly into the M&C management team.
*Duties*
- Manage day-to-day operations of the garden centre
- Ensure the garden centre is well-stocked with a variety of gardening tools, and accessories
-Take an active role in the buying process: Ordering, preparing goods received documents and receiving stock
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Create visually appealing displays to attract customers
-Travel to trade shows as part of the buying team.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in buying or retail management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
-Confident with Excel and other Microsoft programs
- Ability to sell products and provide excellent customer service
-Fork Lift licence desirable but not essential
