About the role
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all project offices, facilities and workplace services across the Beauly to Peterhead transmission project.
This role is primarily based in Elgin and will require regular travel between sites and satellite hubs. You will take full ownership of the setup, operation and demobilisation of project offices, compounds and welfare facilities, while overseeing administrative teams and shared resources across multiple locations.
We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision and bring structure, consistency and strong leadership across all hubs.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all project offices, satellite offices, compounds and welfare facilities across the project
- Take full ownership of the facilities lifecycle including planning, setup, maintenance, optimisation and demobilisation
- Ensure facilities are safe, compliant, fit for purpose and aligned to the construction programme
- Coordinate office operations and logistics across all locations, ensuring consistent standards
- Oversee project mobilisation and demobilisation activities relating to offices and facilities
- Line manage and coordinate administrative teams and shared resources across satellite hubs
- Manage suppliers, contractors and service providers, ensuring performance meets agreed standards
- Work with commercial and procurement teams to secure value for money and follow company processes
- Authorise and process invoices in line with company procedures
- Maintain strong focus on Health & Safety, security and Zero Harm
- Ensure statutory and site notices are displayed and kept up to date
- Support business continuity planning and drive continuous improvement
- Use digital tools and reporting to improve coordination and performance
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team where required

Who we're looking for
- A confident self-starter who can work independently and take ownership from day one
- Someone comfortable managing multiple sites and satellite hubs
- A practical, solutions-focused individual who enjoys improving ways of working
- A strong communicator able to work with senior leadership, site teams and suppliers
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience managing facilities, offices or operational environments within construction or infrastructure
- Experience overseeing multi-site operations and maintaining consistent standards
- Strong people management and coordination skills
- Experience managing external suppliers and service providers
- Good understanding of Health & Safety, security and compliance requirements
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
- Flexibility to travel regularly between project sites
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
