This role is based at our head office in St Martins, Shropshire – postcode SY11 3PZ

Person specification

Applicants must be organised and able to manage their own workload in an efficient and accurate manner. The correct candidate must be willing to work some early mornings and some late afternoon’s / evenings depending on the requirements of the business. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not required as full training will be provided. A full clean driving licence will be required for this role.

Job description

The job role transport administrator is reportable to the transport manager and transport director, the duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

To assist the Transport Manager & Director in managing a fleet of vehicles and their drivers

Carrying out general administration tasks

Generating reports, which must incorporate any necessary legal information

Completing accurate abnormal load notifications

Generally assisting with the day to day running of the department including answering phone calls, providing ETA’s for both collections and deliveries.

Driving cars and vans where required.

Completing timesheets and monitoring drivers hours.

Job Type: Full-time
