Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paint & Prep Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion of automotive repair and be proficient in painting and prepping of vehicles. This role requires motivated individuals to be able to work to an exceptional high standard of quality set out by our work provisions.
Duties
- You will be required to prepare, mask and paint vehicles to a high standard.
- Skills in filler, primer, paint and polish are integral to this role.
- Colour matching and use of our paint mixing schemes.
- You will be required to polish and prepare vehicles ready for the customer to collect their vehicle.
- You will be required to participate in general housekeeping duties to ensure the workshop is cleaned at the end of each working day.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a vehicle Body shop environment.
- Experience in preparing vehicles for the paint oven to a high standard.
- Experience in all aspects of prepping including masking, sanding and other necessary prep work including filler work.
- Experience in vehicle polishing.
- Experienced in carrying out minor repairs,.
- Ability to work proactively and show willingness to help/support your colleagues.
- A keen eye for attention to detail
- A positive can-do attitude is a must.
- To be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
