Summary
Join CAMRA as a Consumer Marketing Officer based in Luton, Bedfordshire. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing engaging campaigns that connect with our community of real ale enthusiasts and pub supporters. Your efforts will help us foster a thriving culture of local pubs and beer appreciation.
Responsibilities
- Identify target audiences via research and consumer segmentation to better understand how the consumer interacts with our brand and what will trigger desired actions from them.
- Have primary responsibility for the website as a source of information, a platform for the brand and a key method to convert visitors to subscribers and members.
- Be responsible for development of the site with IT, to map user journeys and to ensure the effective integration with other commercial domains such as Tckty and the shop.
- Have primary responsibility for our paid digital marketing campaigns such as Google PPC, Social PPC and other channels. Regularly assess metrics to monitor performance and changes in tactics.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the identification of new channels to market including social media, influencer management and external PR support.
- Deliver elements of the product marketing plan to support the launch of books&merchandise to the direct market (Amazon, eshop).
- Work with the Membership Marketing Officer to develop the consumer facing plans around key festivals.
- Support the marketing of the CAMRA lottery outside our membership base.
- Provide input into commercial partnerships as developed by the Business Development Manager.
- Primary day-to-day contact with Communications & Campaigns ensuring alignment on objectives and establishing good working practices.
- Qualifications
- At least two previous marketing roles preferably with a strong digital / lead gen / performance marketing bias
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong working knowledge of digital channels especially PPC and web CMS / analytics
- Able to work in a small team and be a positive contributor to overall department objectives.
- Target driven.
- Strong analytical skills with a propensity to review results and propose changes.
- Confident and with the ability to work across departments.
- Some agency management skills preferable.
- Some artworking skills (Adobe Suite, InDesign, Figma)
