The Company
We're working with a trusted specialist in the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial doors and access systems based in Milton Keynes. They support a growing portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the surrounding areas and are now looking to expand their skilled engineering team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of door and entry systems across both planned and reactive jobs. Working independently and directly with clients, you'll be expected to provide expert advice and recommend the right solutions for each project.
Occasional participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, service and repair of roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed/fast action doors, garage doors, car park barriers and loading bay equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Providing clear, expert advice to customers
- Recommending suitable solutions for each project
Requirements
- Previous experience working with industrial doors and/or automated entry systems (essential)
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Proactive, problem-solving approach
- Confident working independently and directly with clients
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- English language required
