Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Waste Recycling Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the sorting, processing, and recycling of waste materials in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable waste management practices while working within a dynamic and safety-conscious environment.

Duties

Sort recyclable materials from waste streams, ensuring proper segregation according to company standards.
Assist in the loading and unloading of waste materials using appropriate manual handling techniques.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any faults or issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to comply with health and safety regulations.
Support team members in achieving daily operational targets.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.

Requirements

Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and carry out manual handling tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Previous experience in waste management or recycling is advantageous but not essential. This role is vital in supporting our commitment to sustainable waste disposal practices

Pay: From £12.75 per hour
