Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in both care home and home care settings. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of care plans. A commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients is essential.

Duties
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Implementing and following care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Maintaining accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition using IT systems.

Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
A genuine passion for caring for others and improving their quality of life.
Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
