Responsibilities
- Prepare trucks panels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces.
- Apply paint using spray guns and other tools with precision.
- Mix paints and primers to match specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Follow technical instructions for different types of coatings and finishes.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paint sprayer / prepper, preferably within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate spray guns, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring surfaces.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
