BEAM ACADEMY is a children's yoga and mindfulness company looking for fun, engaging, and flexible freelance individuals to join our team in London. We're looking for someone to become part of the team and teach children and teen yoga in children centres, nurseries and schools in London.
We're looking for someone fun, engaging, motivated, positive and flexible with great availability during the week days. We tend to have a lot of classes between 9am - 11.30am and 1pm - 4.30pm to accomodate children's lunch times. You'll be going in to teach after school clubs and classes during curriculum.
We're currently looking for teachers to join our team who are based in the South East London, specifically close to Croydon Orpington, Sidcup, or Bromley area.
If you have an enhanced DBS check that would be a bonus, if not then you can apply for one through us. We do require a minimum availability of 2 AM's (9am - 11.30am) and 2 PM's (1pm - 4.30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Teach yoga and mindfulness classes to children in schools and nurseries
- Engage & teach children in a positive and supportive way
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Complete our 4-day children's yoga teacher training course and a 2 day early years yoga training
- Undergo an enhanced DBS check, first aid, and safeguarding training
- Obtain valid insurance (we can help you with this)
- Have a portable speaker and MP3 player to your classes
Qualifications:
- You do not need to be a qualified yoga teacher as we provide full training. However, you must have a personal yoga practice.
- You must be available to teach yoga classes on a minimum of 3 AM's and 3PM's per week during the weekday.
- You must be based in London.
