Sutton Croft is a leading programme management partner for the Holiday Activities & Food Programme (HAF). Funded by the Department for Education, HAF provides free activities and a hot meal to disadvantaged children during school holidays.
Our role is project management, commissioning providers, distributing grant funding and quality assurance. This is a socially impactful opportunity, working in a team who care about opportunities for young people.
To support maternity cover, we are looking for an Interim Programme Manager on a 9 month fixed term contract.
The Interim Programme Manager will ensure the effective delivery and coordination of the Holiday Activities & Food Programme on behalf of our local authority clients. Playing a strategic leadership role, the Programme Manager will ensure the company meets contract and KPI requirements, have oversight of programme delivery and strategically manage stakeholders.
This will be a wide ranging role requiring you to draw on skills including organisation, project management and partnership working with a variety of stakeholders.
It will also be a highly rewarding role, helping to ensure that thousands of disadvantaged children receive access to high quality holiday activity and food provision over the summer and Christmas holidays.
As Interim Programme Manager, you will have lead responsibility for:
· Strategic leadership of the HAF programme across our local authority clients
· Contract management and relationships with local authorities
· Oversight of performance against KPIs
· Line management of our brilliant HAF team
· Managing programme risk and ensuring compliance with programme requirements
· Overseeing the budget and ensuring grant funding is fully allocated
· Ensuring the effectiveness of the quality assurance process
· Undertaking the reporting and evaluation for each holiday period
· Ensuring any safeguarding concerns are referred in line with procedures
You will assist and be supported by our Director and experienced project team.
The role is full time but a part time (4 days a week, 0.8 FTE) option may be negotiable for the right candidate. We are ideally looking for a candidate who is able to start work quickly.
It is a remote, working from home position. However it is essential that you are able to work in Worcestershire County and Dudley Borough on a number of days during the Summer and Christmas school holiday periods to undertake quality assurance visits of providers. Access to your own transport is essential and mileage will be reimbursed.
The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and compliance with safeguarding procedures.
