As a Payroll Apprentice, you will join our Payroll Team and gain hands-on experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced payroll environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the end-to-end payroll process while supporting thousands of workers across multiple payroll models.
You will be trained by experienced payroll professionals and supported throughout your apprenticeship, developing both technical payroll knowledge and broader commercial awareness.

List of Duties:
- Support the Payroll Team with the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal teams.
- Use payroll software efficiently.
- Help ensure payroll complies with HMRC and company policies.
- Support with payslip queries.
- Ensure statutory payments (sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, holiday pay) are calculated correctly.
- Shadow experienced payroll administrators and accountants.
- Develop skills in confidentiality, accuracy, time management, and customer service.
- Filing payroll reports and payslips securely and distributing them to contractors
Hours: 37.50 per week
