Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plasterer/Skilled Renderer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster and render to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of lime rendering and rendering techniques, the ability to work with a team and a variety of tools, and a commitment to safety and precision. The successful applicant will contribute to the realisation of both internal and external wall finishes, enhancing the durability and aesthetic appeal of our projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents as necessary before plastering or rendering.
Mix and apply plaster or render using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to achieve smooth, textured, or decorative finishes.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate application of materials.
Work with bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, and other trades as required on site.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment by safely handling tools and disposing of waste materials appropriately.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plasterer or renderer with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment related to plastering and rendering.
Knowledge of bricklaying, masonry,
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality finishes.
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if required.
Relevant health and safety certifications or training are preferred but not essential; willingness to undertake necessary training is expected. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople committed to craftsmanship in the building industry.

Pay: £15.56-£28.00 per hour
