Visual Arts Technician
Part time - Up to 31 hours per week (negotiable), 40 weeks per year – (term time plus one week). You will be paid for 45.6 weeks per year pro rata over 12 months.
SFCA Support Spine Band 3, point 7 - currently £25,951 pro rata per annum

We currently have a vacancy for a Visual Arts Technician to support the Visual Arts team. This role involves supporting teachers to resource and run lessons in Art, Textiles, Graphic Design, Photography and 3D Design. You will be a practical, adaptable individual, who has the ability to organise and maintain workshop machinery and equipment both traditional and digital. You will also have a working knowledge (or willingness to learn) of CAD processes - 3D printing and laser cutting. Previous experience in working in a technical support role with students in a workshop is essential.
