Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team as a part time member over the summer initially with potential to keep

Hours later in the year.

This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within the café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure food safety standards are maintained. Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals eager to develop their skills in hospitality and food service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist customers with orders, answer queries, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience.
Support food preparation activities such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change and orders.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to maintain hygiene and safety protocols.
Experience in serving customers efficiently while managing multiple tasks is beneficial.
Basic maths skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills are required to handle peak periods effectively and ensure timely service delivery. Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
