Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. We are looking for some one who is willing to do treatment coordination as and when required. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of financial and human resources management within a healthcare setting. This role requires a proactive individual capable of maintaining high standards of patient care, staff supervision, and practice efficiency. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice whilst fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and patients.
Duties
- Supervise and support dental practice staff, including receptionists, dental nurses, and hygienists, ensuring effective team collaboration.
- Oversee daily operations, including patient scheduling, appointment management, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, invoicing, and cost control to ensure practice profitability.
- Handle human resources responsibilities including recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and addressing employment issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Develop and implement policies to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Liaise with dental suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure necessary materials are available.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a healthcare or dental practice environment is essential.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Demonstrable experience in financial management including budgeting and expense control.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Previous healthcare experience is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant healthcare management experience is required.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
