We are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter Welder to join our workshop team. The successful candidate must be confident working from technical drawings to fabricate and weld pipework systems to a high standard. A strong background in the petrochemical industry is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, fit, and weld pipework in a workshop environment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics
- Carry out TIG/MIG/Stick welding on carbon and stainless steel pipework
- Measure, cut, prep, and assemble pipe systems accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to required quality and safety standards
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter Welder
- Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and welding processes
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
- Relevant welding qualifications/certifications
