Job Purpose:
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the company, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR processes across the business.
The role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems, helping to maintain accurate records and a positive employee experience.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
· Advise employers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs.
· Research and prepare occupational job classifications, job descriptions, salary scales and competency appraisal measures and systems.
· Assist in the full cycle recruitment and selection process of new staff.
· Coordinate employee performance appraisal programs.
· Administer employee benefits plan and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies.
· Develop HR policies and procedures to drive the right behaviours and performance and mitigate possible issues.
· Ensure compliance with legislation such as the Employment Standards.
· Assist in creating new hire documentation, ensure files are kept secure and up to date.
· Arrange all onboarding documentation and orientation sessions, ensure relevant paperwork have been completed and saved.
· Process, verify and register documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations and classifications.
· Arrange for advertising or posting of job openings, assist in screening and rating of job applicants, and conduct reference checks.
· Provide assistance sustaining personnel files, whilst maintaining your duty of confidentiality at all times.
· Assisting with orientation of new staff as and when required.
· Obtaining and maintaining OH&S documents.
· Obtaining and keeping on file any Professional certificates.
· General upkeep of filing, photocopying and other administrative duties.
· Ensuring familiarity with regulations and procedures required in the execution of the above duties.
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
