Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable stores man and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both warehouse operations and driving duties, ensuring efficient delivery of goods while maintaining a well-organised warehouse environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to put together flat pack cabinetry according to plan and a willingness to work on site when required with our on site cinema build team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movements.
- Assist in the organisation and management of warehouse stock, ensuring items are stored correctly.
- Assemble flat pack cabinetry from detailed plans
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Assist the on site teams when required
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence with experience driving vans.
- Basic carpente/joinery skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
