Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the front of house, while also collaborating closely with the kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and safety.

Duties

Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Supervise and train front of house staff, fostering a positive team culture and encouraging professional development.
Assist in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and customer inquiries to optimise guest experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Implement and uphold restaurant policies and procedures to junior member of the team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies and coordinate with management for reordering as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation processes and food safety regulations is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.

The annual salary is based on 40 hours per week - 5 days on and 2 days off. The salary equivalent per hour is £13.50 to £14.

On top of your monthly salary we average a £4 extra in service charge / tips.
