Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Flexible working hours required.

Paid Trial shift for any successful candidates.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Assist in setting up and packing down the bar before and after operating hours
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote specials or events
Manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills during peak hours

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Ability to serve drinks confidently and accurately under pressure
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Friendly personality with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse customers
