Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Pub Manager to support the daily operations of our vibrant pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. Duties
- Assist in supervising daily pub activities, ensuring smooth operation during shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Delegate tasks, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in organising events or promotions to increase patron engagement
- Support in training new staff members in service procedures and health & safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wet-led pub or hospitality environments, preferably within a pub setting
- Strong supervisory experience with team management skills
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and organise staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A recognised qualification in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not essentialThis role offers an engaging environment for those passionate about hospitality and eager to develop their managerial skills within a lively pub setting.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
