Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
As a Machine Operative you will play a pivotal role in creating high quality products for our customers. You will be:
- Operating machines, working on a production line general production duties
- Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced by means of 30 minute quality checks
- Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch
- Meeting production targets
- Completing production paperwork
- Completing daily checks
- Follow Safe Working Practices
- Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations
- Completing additional tasks as set by management team where trained to do so.
A Few Things About You:
You must be a team player, be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and self-discipline to get the work done as you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers.
You will also have a great eye for detail as Quality is very important to us.
You must also be comfortable working flexible hours on a continental shift pattern, working days, nights, and weekends. This role requires standing for long periods.
Your Experience Will Include:
- Having previously worked as a production operative in manufacturing (Desirable) or;
- Having previously worked in a practical manual role
- Having experience of quality control procedures but not essential
- You will have experience of working shifts
When You’ll Be Working:
You will be working the 24/7 Rota, which is a rotating 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights, hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00. 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights
It is an average 38.5 hour working week exc breaks.
