Full job description

Note - This is working 3 days per week in the week and occasional weekends.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated member to join our vibrant team. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure customer health and safety.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
