We are seeking a dynamic and organised Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing sales initiatives and coordinating events to enhance our organisation’s profile and revenue streams. Key Responsibilities
Support on site General Manager with sales
Provide pro-active contact of bookers & organizers as first point of contact from portfolio
Develop relationships with M&E agents to put entire portfolio forward acting as point of contact for driving relationship
Monitor websites, extranets, intranets, etc for content and relevance to provide traction for portfolio
Assist in development of site-specific marketing and events calendar to provide coherent structure and forward planning
Assist in invoice, contras and commission claims check
Assist in billing including deposits, bill backs and final billing
Identify areas for further positioning of hotels within market
Record all contacts gained in central database
Log all enquires/chases/leads into central database
Carry out Duty Manager shifts if required
Assist with further development of with production and improvement plan within the portfolio
Assist Operational team with setup, service and removal as required
Any other areas as reasonably required by management not contained in the above
Key segments
Events: Non-seasonal program to proactively drive increased sales and profitability measured in YOY totals including top line revenue, total volume of events booked and conversion of profitability. Wakes, parties, etc. by location.
Weddings: Drive volume increase in combination of total numbers and profitability increase as defined by location within portfolio
Meetings: Drive volume increase with higher flow through profit
Seasonal Events: Focus delivery volume delivery for festive season increase in both cover count and profit margin. Format long range strategy in conjunction with site specific team to program YOY growth and targets for following year. Directly tie into marketing calendar to deliver following year growth.
Other: Segments which fall outside above noted key segments for uplift and profitability delivery by site and entirety of portfolio.
Measurements
As noted, segments and channels will be measured as a percentage increase formulated on a cumulative year on year and further broken down to specific monthly targets to be measured against previous year’s statistics.
These may be updated and or revised dependant on circumstances and seasonal impact and will be advised prior to implementation.

Provide timely and constructive feedback of programs to develop positive culture
Monitor all H&S polices and ensure working environment
Ensure all required statutory reporting, audits and inspections are completed on time with correct documentation
Carry out routine inspections with assistance as required when necessary for internal reporting
Attend meetings or training as required
Continue personal development to stretch targets and objectives
Any other reasonable duties as requested by senior leadership including Director, Regional Manager or individual senior management of individual properties.
Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
