Full job description

AW Construction Services Ltd are a successful multi-disciplined construction company based in Folkestone. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed working site manager to join our expanding team, supporting projects in London and working away ( optional)

Most of our projects run Mon - Fri. However, due to the nature of our projects, we can consistently offer long shifts, 7 days/week, presenting the opportunity to earn a very good wage for those that would like to work the additional hours. You must be prepared to work hard, and have a good positive attitude.

The position is on a self-employed, with or without a van, with the package adjusted accordingly for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a variety of commercial construction projects, managing directly employed workforce, and sub-contractors, ensuring quality and good health and safety standards, are at the heart of all they do. We are looking for a confident working site manager who ideally has strip out, fit out and simple groundworks experience.

Applicants must hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and hold a full UK driving licence.

Requirements:

Regularly reviewing drawings and scopes of works, ensuring both are correctly applied.
Ensuring good health and safety standards are met, and maintaining associated documents
Maintaining regular contact with the AW project manager and issuing daily reports
Communicating labour, material and plant requirements
