Full job description

Overview
We at Benview Guesthouse are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the guest house. Working with a small team to ensure a work friendly environment and a positive attitude.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital housekeeping is preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Flexibility to adapt to different shifts as required.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
