Full-Time Job Opportunity - Tractor Operator.
A family run diverse farming enterprise in South Shropshire, is looking for a Tractor Operator, to undertake the daily operations of their anaerobic digester, as well as support the arable and suckler unit.
The successful candidate must have at least one year’s experience in a similar field, with a strong mechanical background. They should be observant, diligent, thorough, and motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
General duties would include, but are not limited to:-
AD Plant -
- To load required feedstocks daily using a telehandler
- Record data
- Perform any necessary maintenance tasks.
Arable & Suckler Unit -
- All cultivations
- Spread liquid & solid digestate
- Assist with harvest
- Feed and bed down cattle
- General farm work.
Although a telehandler ticket would be preferred, all training can be provided.
A three-bedroom cottage is available as part of the package.
Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
