We are seeking to recruit a clinical research nurse or clinical research co-ordinator to join our established research delivery team at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Trust and support recruitment to clinical research studies.
We are supporting research activity in a wide range of clinical specialities including paediatrics, cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, anaesthetics, surgery, oncology, reproductive health, rheumatology and stroke. Our research portfolio is growing steadily as we further our aim of increasing participation in research.
The role requires excellent communication, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in order to meet competing demands.
This post represents an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated individual with prior experience in clinical research, to develop their skills and knowledge further in the area of managing research studies within the NHS. We wish to increase the number of patients participating in research studies at our Trust and this role will work closely with our research nurses and assistants to set up new studies and support patient recruitment into those studies.
