Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a solid background in restaurant or hotel environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and manage a motivated team. Previous experience in food preparation, serving, and food safety is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the overall success of the establishment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate front of house operations to ensure smooth daily service
Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee food presentation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen operations
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest enquiries efficiently
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area in compliance with health regulations
Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timings
Uphold the establishment’s standards for hospitality, professionalism, and presentation

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience in serving and hospitality environments, including hotel or barista experience preferred
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous
A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence
