What's The Role About?
As Quality Technician you'll play a key role in supporting food safety, quality, and compliance across the site. Working closely with the QA team and operational departments, you'll help ensure products meet the highest standards and customer expectations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
You will support the management of finished product quality through daily batch quality checks, sensory evaluation, packaging and coding verification, and maintenance of quality documentation. You'll coordinate microbiological, nutritional and claims verification testing, ensuring schedules are maintained and risks are escalated appropriately.
An important aspect of the role is supporting investigations into complaints, out-of-specification results, non-conformances, and factory incidents, using root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence. You'll contribute to KPI reporting, trend analysis, and the administration of quality management systems while supporting internal audits, traceability exercises, and customer requirements. In addition, you'll help promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the site and provide support during second- and third-party audits.
