Start Date:01 /06/2026

Hours: 15 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bakery Shop Assistant to join our team on a holiday cover basis. This is a fast-paced role that involves both customer service and maintaining cleanliness throughout the bakery.

Training will be provided, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.

Working Days

* Monday

* Tuesday

* Thursday

* Friday

* Saturday

Days Off: Wednesday & Sunday

Shift Pattern

* Short shifts throughout the week

* Approx. 3 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

* Providing friendly and confident customer service

* Serving customers in the shop

* Cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards

* Washing up and general cleaning duties

* Working efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment

* Handling pressure well during busy periods

* Confident and approachable with customers

* Able to work quickly and efficiently

* Comfortable working under pressure

* Reliable and hardworking

* Willing to learn — full training provided
