Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of fried dishes according to established recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including the fryer station.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and taste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help maintain inventory levels of cooking supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in a kitchen environment, particularly in frying techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for handling food.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or customer demands as required.
