Executive Assistant to the Executive Leadership Team

Discovery Schools Academies Trust Ltd
Salary: Grade 9 Pay Point 19-22

Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, 52 weeks per year and appointed on a permanent basis

Working Pattern: Monday -Friday

Closing Date for Advert: 19 June 2026

Location: Discovery Offices at Parkland Primary School with some travel to schools within the Trust and to external event locations.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing high-quality, efficient support that enables them to focus on delivering strategic priorities. You’ll be a trusted partner, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

You’ll also act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building positive relationships and ensuring communication is clear, consistent and professional.

Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to prioritise, problem-solve and remain calm under pressure
High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
A proactive mindset—always one step ahead

Key Responsibilities:

Managing complex calendars and scheduling for multiple senior leaders
Coordinating meetings, events and governance activity (including preparing agendas, papers and minutes)
Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times
Supporting projects and initiatives across the organisation
Ensuring systems, processes and records are well organised and up to date
Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and schools to keep everything connected and moving forward
