Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Supervisor for our after-school club to oversee children's activities and ensure a safe, engaging environment for pupils during after school hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising children, organising activities, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare, education, and working with young people.

Duties

Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Organise and lead engaging activities suitable for various age groups, such as games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
Assist with homework support
Manage daily routines such as snack times and bathroom breaks in accordance with organisational policies
Maintain a clean and organised environment within the club premises
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress or concerns.

Qualifications

Experience in childcare or similar roles is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Strong communication skills in English
Passionate about working with children and committed to their development and safety
Friendly, approachable manner with a patient and nurturing attitude

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
