Here at evoke, we're looking for a Senior Compliance Manager based in either Gibraltar or Malta. In this role, you'll be, providing ongoing regulatory and compliance advice in relation to Irish and other applicable gaming regulatory frameworks, ensuring the business remains aligned with evolving legal and regulatory obligations. You'll be developing and maintaining effective working relationships with regulatory authorities, external legal advisors, and relevant industry stakeholders and leading and supporting regulatory audits, compliance reviews, and internal assessments to ensure adherence to licensing conditions, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
What you will be doing:
- Drafting, reviewing and/or approving customer-facing content, including websites, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and communications to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards
- Partnering with business stakeholders to implement, maintain, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks
- Investigating regulatory incidents, complaints, and potential breaches, ensuring timely escalation, remediation, reporting, and appropriate record keeping
- Provide practical compliance guidance across key business areas, including responsible gaming, AML/CFT, marketing, customer operations, and strategic initiatives
- Driving compliance awareness and training initiatives to promote a strong culture of regulatory compliance and ethical conduct across our organisation whilst supporting the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of regulatory and compliance issues within operational processes
- Collaborating closely with operational teams, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance standards are consistently achieved and maintained, whilst contributing to business projects and strategic initiatives by providing proactive regulatory and compliance input throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting the maintenance and ongoing development of our risk register, compliance monitoring programme, and governance reporting framework and monitoring and assessing regulatory developments and emerging risks, providing clear analysis and recommendations regarding potential business impact
- Preparing high-quality compliance reports, reviews, management information, and regulatory updates for senior leadership and governance committees
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting members of the Compliance team as may be required, fostering professional development, ensuring effective workload management, and promoting a high-performance compliance culture whilst supporting compliance projects and undertake ad hoc regulatory assignments as required.
Who we are looking for:

- Excellent and proven understanding of gambling regulatory frameworks with previous experience within the online gaming industry
- Knowledge of AML/CFT obligations, responsible gaming requirements, and broader regulatory compliance principles
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently within a fast-paced environment
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and report-writing capabilities - a legal qualification and/or being a qualified lawyer would be considered a good asset.
