Hours – 16 Hours (Friday to Monday with additional hours if business requires it for holiday cover. Weekends required)
Rota Example – (May vary on requirements)
Friday: 10am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 12pm, Sunday 10am – 12pm, Monday: 10am – 4pm
The role:
Based at Ruthven Falls Brigton of Ruthven, Blairgowrie, you will be responsible to maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and functionality of the holiday park grounds, lodges, and associated facilities. The Grounds Maintenance Worker will carry out landscaping duties, hot tub maintenance, and general repairs while delivering excellent customer service to guests and owners. The role plays a key part in ensuring the park remains attractive, safe, and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain landscaped areas to a high standard, including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, planting, and weed control.
- Undertake hot tub servicing, cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and fault reporting.
- Perform general maintenance and repair work within lodges and park facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Assist with lodge preparation, inspections, and changeovers when required.
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and tools safely.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Keep maintenance records and complete required documentation accurately.
- Support Park improvement projects and seasonal maintenance activities.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to guests, owners, and visitors. Answering customer queries and resolve issues courteously, escalating where necessary
- Assist other departments as required to support the overall operation of the park.
The role is outdoors therefore we’ll be looking for you to stay motivated working in all weather conditions.
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, property maintenance, or a similar role.
- Basic practical skills in repairs and general maintenance.
- Ability to use grounds maintenance machinery and hand tools safely.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, manage time effectively and independent working.
- Full UK driving licence.
