Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Groundworker/Dumper Driver

CSCS Card – essential
Kerbing, slabbing, concreting
Excavation and reinstatement
Strong awareness of site safety and safe working practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Responsibilities

Operate dumper trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials around construction sites
Assist with groundworks, including site clearance, excavation, and levelling tasks
Maintain and carry out basic checks on mechanical equipment, including excavators and dumpers
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Support the team with additional site duties as required
Ensure all machinery is kept clean and in good working order after use

Requirements

Proven experience as a dumper driver or in a similar groundworking role
Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction machinery and equipment
Valid commercial driving licence (C1 or above) with experience operating excavators is desirable
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good organisational skills and attention to safety procedures
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions accurately

hourly rate dependent on experience and certification

Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour
