Job Title: Kitchen Porter & Line Cook

Locations: The Liquor Store / Lucky Strike

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £12.40

About Us

We are looking for a new team member that can join our restaurant group to work as a multi-faceted team member. The role would include being a KP/Commis position at The Liquor Store, a new high-end cocktail and curated small plates venue in St Vincent Street, as well as doing 2-3 days a week in The Lucky Strike looking after the kitchen and small menu there.

Kitchen Porter Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.

- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently.

- Assist with deliveries and stock organisation.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

- Support chefs and kitchen staff as needed.

Line Cook Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.

- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.

- Ensure food is prepared and presented to a high standard.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation.

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of organisation and cleanliness

- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

- Good time management and organisational skills

- A Level 2 in Health & Hygiene is required.
