Conveyancing Assistant | North Bristol (BS36)

The rewards:

£28,000 – £31,000 per annum
33 days holiday including bank holidays
Pension and life assurance

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The role of Conveyancing Assistant:

Assisting the Conveyancer to progress transactions in accordance with laid-down procedures and standards
Liaising with clients and keeping them properly informed at all times
Providing support to the team supervisor as required
Keeping the Case Management system up to date at all times
Acting as first point of contact for telephone calls and visitors, handling queries and escalating to Conveyancer where required
Working in the best interest of the client and firm, providing the highest standards of client care
Handling client monies within Solicitors Regulatory Authority and Law Society guidelines
Assisting in training of other staff as required, including use of SOS Connect case management system
Carrying out such other duties as may reasonably be required

The ideal Conveyancing Assistant:

Previous experience in residential property, working on a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
Case management system experience
Background as a conveyancing secretary, paralegal, or conveyancing assistant
