Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join our busy Cheltenham Accident Repair Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, professional bodyshop environment where quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.
You will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicle bodywork to the highest standards, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and manufacturer standards.
Main Duties
- Prepare and refinish all types of vehicle bodywork to a high standard.
- Carry out vehicle body repairs safely and efficiently to achieve total customer satisfaction.
- Ensure displaced vehicle parts are stored correctly and safely.
- Work towards target repair times where possible.
- Complete all quality control paperwork to BS10125 standards.
- Identify and report any additional damage or repair requirements.
- Request additional parts through the correct process and documentation.
- Monitor workshop consumables and report shortages to the Workshop Controller.
- Maintain spray booths, work bays, tools, and equipment to a clean and professional standard.
- Keep up to date with technical developments and manufacturer standards.
- Support the training and development of apprentices/trainees when required.
- Carry out quality-focused work while complying with all company Health & Safety, COSHH, and legal obligations.
- Support the wider team and undertake additional duties where reasonably requested.
Who You Are
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer / Prepper within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
- Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines.
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Good understanding of vehicle repair processes and quality standards.
- Committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Full-time, permanent role
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cheltenham GL51: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
